AGENTS OF GOOD ROOTS Agents of Good Roots is a jazz rock fusion band from Richmond, VA that also draws influences from classical, pop, blues, and every other genre of music. The quartet includes guitar, bass, drums and saxophone, giving the band a much more unique flavor and style than your average rock band. Adding to the unique sound are lead singer Andrew Winn's raspy, magnetic vocals. Agents has been performing together since 1995, and their live shows are where they pick up fans. The first time I saw them perform at the now condemned Riverview Theater in Norfolk, VA in 1996, I was hooked forever. The band's stage presence is amazing, and every show is a new experience. The guys in the band are pretty nice too! AGR is on tour now through the end of the year in Virginia and North Carolina. If you haven't yet had the opportunity to see them, check out the tour dates below. NEWS: Agents of Good Roots just performed its last show ever this New Years Eve at Alley Katz in Richmond, VA. The band plans is going on an indefinite hiatus following the show, and each member will be concentrating on side projects. LEFT OFF THE DIAL has the first review of the show: Review of Agents of Good Roots Farewell Show - Alley Katz in Richmond, VA
