BAD RELIGION Bad Religion is one of the most well-known and long-lasting bands to come out of the Southern California hardcore/punk scene of the early 80's. Forming in 1980, Bad Religion released a self-titled EP one year later that also marked the beginning of their own Epitaph record label. The original lineup comprised guitarist Brett Gurewitz, vocalist Greg Graffin, bassist Jay Bentley, and drummer Jay Ziskrout, Gurewitz taking on responsibility and the role of president for the Epitaph label. Over the course of Bad Religion's existence, the band has seen numerous changes in lineups and in record labels, defecting to both Atlantic and Columbia. BR's most recent release, The Process of Belief, marks both a return to Epitaph and, as some say, to the early Bad Religion style of music. DISCOGRAPHY:
