BLUE SANDCASTLE Blue Sandcastle initially formed in Denton,
TX in 1993. For over a year, they played around Texas releasing a
full-length CD, Get Away From My Sandwich. They parted ways shortly after,
joining other Texas-based groups. A chance reunion at a NY nightclub in 1998 by
the core Blue Sandcastle members Jean-Paul Vest and Erik Schuman led them to the
decision to reform. The band's rock sound comprises shifting rhythms and
driving guitar, a mix of Husker Du, Replacements, Dinosaur
