BRUCE PIEPHOFF Bruce Piephoff is a full-time singer/songwriter/poet based in Greensboro, NC. He started writing songs and poetry while a student at UNC-Chapel Hill. After listening to some Bob Dylan records his father gave him, he began writing his own songs on his guitar. Bruce's guitar playing and songwriting is influenced by the Texas Troubadors, Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, and Kris Kristofferson as well as John Prine and Tom Waits. Since 1988, Bruce has recorded ten albums of original songs and poetry for Flyin' Cloud Records, which is based in Eden, NC.
