Daisy Ricochet: Need
[Pink Lady]

Daisy Ricochet are a melodic, heavy rock act outta New Yawk.  Yes melodic, blah, blah, blah, heavy rock, etc., I know.

Hey, you might be their target audience.  You would be in your early to late twenties and probably think Creed is pretty damn good, simultaneously wondering why it is that they broke up this is unfortunate for you and you should seek the guidance of someone older and wiser in the ways of rock.

Daisy Ricochet have been compared to bands that came before them who are so much better and who have such an abundance of talent, that I wont even do them the indignity of mentioning their names here.  Just know that they are male bands with heavy guitar riffs and talented drummers and maybe a drug problem or two.

It is not that they are talentless.  The vocals from Neil Cabana are strong and heartfelt.  The musical ability of the band is quite good, and you just cannot help but wonder why bands like this play the music that they do.  It seems that they would want to maybe branch out and grab a torch that has yet to be lit and burned out by so many before them.  They do have a couple of tracks that demonstrate that they might have something else in their back pocket.  One song tiptoes into territory previously established by Weezer, while one or two others show a softer side.

Daisy Ricochet has certainly not reached any sort of huge achievement with this release, at least not musically or lyrically.  However, I wouldnt count them out for something more meaningful and attached in the future.
