EARLY WYNN SALTER

Early Wynn Salter was born in Salter Path, NC on May 5, 1954.   Beginning with rock, country and pop, Salter later turned his music to the more spiritual and non-secular.  He says, " I have played in several bands. At age 11 I was in a band called "The Flames" (I had to stand on a drink crate to reach the microphone) and we played on the show "Shindig" which was quite popular back then."  In 1980, Salter moved to Houston, TX  where he married. The couple moved to Nashville in 1986 with their two children in hopes of breaking into the music business. Salter cut a record, entitled Carolina Lady, without much success.  He currently plays in his local Church Band and performs occasional  local gigs. Early's album Blu-Cross has been an immediate success on CWRadio on both sides of the Atlantic.
