ED ALKALAY Ed Alkalay is a singer/songwriter whose music blends folk, country, and blues elements. Although he grew up in the New York City area, Alkalay relocated to Washington D.C. two years after releasing Diamond Chain in 1996. The album received significant radio airplay and critical acclaim. Alkalay has since returned, releasing Turning Dorian Gray in 2001 and playing with the roots rock band Liquid Poodle.
