EYES LIKE KNIVES

Eyes Like Knives is a  noise-rock band from Boston, MA consisting of Scott Toomey on guitars and vocals, Rebecca Takamizu on guitars, vocals and piano, Andre Obin on bass, and Chris Lawler on drums.  Formed in early 2001, the band's music tends to be on the darker side of heavy rock with loud guitars that drift between noise and melody.  Eyes Like Knives has been compared to the likes of Jawbox, Sonic Youth, Drive Like Jehu, and Quicksand.  Look for a review of the band's self-titled EP on Left Off The Dial, coming soon.
