FLOGGING MOLLY

This Los Angeles-based Irish punk band was formed by Dublin native and former Fastway front man Dave King. Their debut release, Alive Behind the Green Door, was recorded at the band members favorite LA club and namesake, Molly Malones. Their next album Swagger released in March 2000 received critical acclaim, and their rowdy Irish folk-rock punk sound drew quick comparisons to the likes of other Irish bands such as The Pogues and Black 47. The band describes itself as a Guinness-soaked musical body blow. Their next album, Drunken Lullabies, is due to be released on 19th March 2002.
