Frequency Fall: Resensitize
[Under Web]

Frequency Falls Resensitize is a long album, clocking in at no less than 53 minutes.  But and I hate to be harsh its 53 minutes of the same thing.

Their sound is something resembling a cross between The Smashing Pumpkins and Coldplay.  Singer, Travis Clarks voice is decent, but his range is scant, and consequently, the vocals grow old fast.  The recording quality, on the other hand is pretty damn good.  The sound is very full, and the guitars are perfectly panned.  The vocals are just the right volume. This is definitely one of the best self-produced albums Ive heard production-wise.

The songs, as I mentioned, are pretty middle-of-the-road.  There are chord progressions that dont really stick in your head and lyrics that you cant remember.  I suppose there is an audience for this sort of thing, but I have trouble listening to the entire album without going crazy.  Maybe thats my ADD.  Probably my ADD.  Hey what was I saying?

Well, its a sad thing seeing a release which obviously had a lot of effort put into it, but unfortunately doesnt leave its mark.  Or at least not with this ADD-ridden reviewer.
