JAY RAKES BAND The Jay Rakes Band, from Norfolk,
VA., was formed in 1998 and is a rock-guitar, instrumental trio. The band
released their first CD, Perfect Tension in 1998. The CD features
twelve original songs, the highlight being "Kinda Jimi", a
Hendrix-influenced piece. Influences of Jay Rakes Band include Rush, Steve
Morse, Jeff Beck, Gary Moore, Frank Marino.
