MARK HANNAN Mark Hannan was born and raised in Minneapolis MN, not far from the childhood home of Bob Dylan. He has grown up surrounded by Music and performed across America with the world-renowned Concordia Choir. During High School he discovered the musings of contemporary folk artists such as Storyhill, Greg Brown, Ani DiFranco, and John Gorka. Today, Mark's music can be defined as contemporary pop-tinged acoustic folk. Audibly influenced by artists like Duncan Sheik, Matthew Ryan, Bill Mallonee, and Nick Drake. Found frequently playing in local coffee houses, colleges, and churches he has developed a reputation as a thoughtful, laid-back, and entertaining live act. In early summer of 2001 Mark finished the recording of his second album, entitled Blueprints for Decent. Mark has also joined forces with Southeastern Minnesota's Sherry Carlson to form an acoustic duo named Falling Further.
