Mizar: The King of Stars
[self-released]

Imagine being aurally assaulted by a terrible synthesized springy organ and a horrifying high-pitched falsetto voice singing about who-knows-what. Now imagine having to write a review about it.

Seriously, though, Mizars The King of the Stars is downright terrible. There is nothing that could save this horrific train wreck of an album. From track titles such as Like a Nun to the aforementioned synthesized organ, Mizar dares you to hate him.

The press kit claims that you will either like the album or hate it, but you will have to admit that it is something different. Well, I guess I have to agree there. It is different.

I tried desperately to find somethinganythingto like about this album, to no avail. I cant even appeal to the albums length, at it clocks in at an arduous sixty-five minutes. The mixing is bad (unless you like synthesizer in the left ear, and voice in the right ear, for sixty-five minutes), and the songs are (to put it nicely) annoying.

Avoid this album at all costs. Even if you have to physically cut off the hand that may attempt to buy this album, cut it off.
