MORNING SPY

Morning Spy was formed in San Francisco in 2001 as a recording project by Mark Loftin and Jon Rooney. Allison Goffman added vocals to a few tracks and a band with a dreamy pop sound was born. The initial home recordings led to a self-produced CD and a few area bookings. Morning Spy started playing out in San Francisco in the summer of 2002 and recorded their first demo in Oakland.
