Moses Guest: Guest Motel
[Aufheben]

For those in need of some down-home music, you might want to consider Guest Motel to meet your needs. Then again, you could listen to either classic Country music or plain old rock n roll, but there seems to be a demand still for this type of hybrid; so for those of you who shop for your music at Wal-Mart, heres your sign.

The first half of the album has a faster pace, especially on the boogie-romp stomping Victim of Hours and 2 of Everybody which harkens the Dave Matthews Band song Jimi Thing on the guitars end. However most of the album is comprised of chilled out Americana-type ballads such as the heartfelt Jackson and Double-Double-Double God, which is as soul-searching as it gets for these Texans.  The general mellow feel of the album makes it perfect for those times when the NASCAR race from the day before leaves your head hurting and your body just aint feelin right. Just crack open a bottle of MGD and queue up Guest Motel, as per the country doctors orders.
