THE RAVEONETTES Danish duo Sune Rose Wagner (guitar,
vocals) and Sharin Foo (bass, vocals) formed The Raveonettes in their hometown
of Copenhagen, Denmark. The Raveonettes entered the garage rock brassy sound Nation.
Wagner had tried to form a band during the late 1990s, packing his bags for
America. Wagner couldn't find anyone in America but it wasn't a wasted sojourn
as Wagner used the time to write songs, some of which would appear on the
Raveonettes debut album. Returning to Denmark he got together with Foo and the
Raveonettes were born. The duo's garage rock sound was soon earning them
much plaudits across Europe and Whip It On, their debut album was greeted
with immense praise and acclaim. They have continued to grow in stature and
