SARAH HARMER

Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, Harmer and some friends formed the moderately successful Weeping Tile in 1994 while together at college. Harmer was the lead singer and songwriter. It was not until 1999 that after deciding to take a break from the band she pursued a solo career and her solo debut album, Songs For Clem, gained her critical acclaim in her native country. It was her second solo album, You Were Here, which propelled her into the US spotlight and earned her widespread recognition and praise. Sarahs serene voice and sublimely crafted songs combined with a perfectly balanced mixture of roots, pop and folk sensibilities have earned her an army of fans and admirers.
