THE SCREWTAPE LETTERS The alternative rock band, the Screwtape Letters formed in 1997, while Joseph Witham, Ryan Sharp and Chad Fuller were attending college in Dallas, TX. In the same year, Kyle Blair responded to an ad placed in the Met by these three. The band entered the Dallas scene in august of 1997. Within the first six months, the band had played many popular Dallas venues including: Trees, The Curtain Club, Club Dada, Club Clearview, and the Galaxy Club. The band had also worked regionally in cities including but not limited to: Waco, Shreveport, San Angelo, and Lubbock. At the end of 1999, the Screwtape Letters parted ways with lead guitarist, Chad Fuller, and eventually hired, Thomas Huckaby, who proved to be a welcome addition, adding tastefully intense leads to the Screwtape Letters previously established rhythms.
