The Tattle Tales: ...Get Snappy!
[Bling Bling]

Cmon. Weve all seen em. Those embarrassing teen movies. Yeah, you know what Im talking about. My personal favorites are, of course, Clueless and Ten Things I Hate About You. I have to admit that these particular movies win my affection due in part to the obscenely ridiculous music featured on said films soundtracks. If you follow me thus far, you probably have a pretty good idea of what The Tattle Tales sound like on Get Snappy!

To be frank about it all, I really dont know how this entire album is NOT a stupid teen movie soundtrack itself. Every single time I sit down to listen to this album, the images begin to flow: sappy high school love scenes, youthful enthusiasm, fabrics constituted mostly of Lycra. What sets my mind spinning? Is it the lack of mature and interesting themes, lack of lyrical prowess, shallow and hollow guitars and drums, the downright annoying vocals? Yes, but that cannot possibly be all there is to it. Oh, I know whats going on! What really drives me nuts and sets me into a full-on cheesy child film daydream frenzy is the fact that this band sounds like every shitty, shameless and nameless band ever to appear on some stupid teen movie compilation. Wait, there is one difference! The Tattle Tales are even less talented than such mid-1990s one hit wonders!

While this album will leave a bad taste in your mouth, one can hope that it wont leave any mark on civilization. That said, one last piece of advice: dont waste your time on this one.
