THE WAXWINGS

Hailing from the one-and-only motor-city, Detroit. The Waxwings formed in the mid-90s with their own brand of melodic pop/rock. The band's  Brit-influenced jangle pop and fuzzy, lo-fi indie rock sound has been influenced by the Beach Boys, the Zombies and Big Star amongst others. The band's release to date have received much praise and deservedly so. A LEFT OFF THE DIAL review of Shadows Of The Waxwings can be found below.
